- Old Fashion Oats
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Peanut butter, creamy
- Butter, salted
- Brown sugar- dark or light
- Vanilla extract
- Chopped Nuts- walnuts, pecans, or peanuts
🔆How to Make No-Bake Chocolate Oat Nut Bars
This is one of the quickest and easiest cookie recipes ever, plus you
only need a few ingredients to make them!
- In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat over low heat, until the butter has melted and the sugar has dissolved.
- Add oats, Cook, stirring constantly, for 4 to 5 minutes. Pour half of the oat mixture into the prepared greased baking dish. Spread out the mixture evenly, pressing down.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and the peanut butter. Heat on high in the microwave, in increments of 40 seconds, stirring in between each increment, until melted and fully combined.
- Pour 1/2 of the chocolate mixture into the pan over the pressed oats, reserving the other 1/2 for the top. Top with the remaining oats and top with the remaining chocolate mixture. Top with nuts.
🔆Storing No-Bake Cookie Bars
Refrigerate: Cookie bars should be refrigerated and taken out for 30
minutes before eating. Cookie bars are good for 1 week in the
refrigerator.
Freeze: Place bars in an airtight container, or freezer bag, it
will be good for 30 days. Take bars out from the freezer for 30
minutes before eating.
