How to Make Cake-Mix Cookies 🥣
One bowl + easy pantry ingredients + minimal steps
- Preheat oven
- Melt butter in a large glass bowl
- Stir in cake mix, eggs, and cocoa into melted butter until combined
- Add in chocolate chips, chunks, and candy bits until combined
✱Baking Tip:
If you don't have a cookie scoop, use a tablespoon and roll the dough into a ball. Then flatten the ball lightly.
- Use a cookie scoop* to place dough onto a lightly greased cookie sheet or parchment line. Lightly flatten each ball.
- Bake 8-9 minutes until edges are just set and tops have begun to crack. Cool a few minutes before removing to a cookie rack

Let cookies cool completely before storing them in an airtight container. Cookies are good for up to 5 days at room temp.
Freeze: To freeze the dough, place the scooped cookie dough balls on a baking sheet and freeze for about an hour. Once they’ve hardened, you can then place them in a ziplock freezer bag. The dough will last up to 4 months frozen.
